Acacia
sinuata (Soap Nut, Saptala) promotes hair growth and
has a detangling effect on the hair, which prevents inter-fibre
adhesion, thereby increasing the volume of hair mass.

Cicer
arietinum (Bengal Gram, Chanaka) has anti-fungal and antibacterial compounds.
|
|
Sapindus
mukorossi (Soapnut-tree of North India, Arishta) detergent
action cleanses the hair and removes accumulation of debris
and sebaceous material, further decreasing the scattering
of light on the hair shaft with corresponding increase in
specular reflection and hair lustre.

Trigonella
foenum-graecum (Fenugreek, Medhika) prevents hair
fall and promotes hair growth. It contains lecithin and other
useful proteins, which help in hair growth.
