Composition
LeanTea has the following herbs:
Garcinia cambogia (Garcinia, Vrikshamla) reduces the conversion of carbohydrates (sugars) into fats. This action leads to increased production and storage of glycogen, which in turn reduces appetite. It also promotes thermogenesis (increases production of body heat) due to which the body burns the extra calories. In addition, it lowers the production of triglycerides and cholesterol by promoting synthesis of low-density lipoproteins. All the above properties tone up the system and promote weight loss.
Cyperus scariosus (Umbrella's edge, Nagaramusta) acts as a good carminative and regularises appetite. It is useful in controlling obesity.
Commiphora mukul (Indian bdellium, Guggulu) has hypolipidaemic (that which reduces fat) and hypocholestrolaemic (that which reduces cholesterol) activities which help in reducing body weight.
