Action Cough Syrup
It is a safe, nonalcoholic and non-sedating herbal syrup. It relieves sore throat, allergic cough, dry irritable cough, cough associated with bronchial asthma and cough with expectoration.




Usage  
A dosage of 2 teaspoonfuls twice a day for 2-3 days is recommended.

Indications
Cough Syrup is useful for treating dry cough and cough with expectoration.

Pack Size  
Cough Syrup is available in a bottle of 120ml.

 
Composition
Cough Syrup contains the following ingredients:  
Meldespumatum (Honey, Madhu) is recommended as a remedy for cold, cough and sore throat, for its bactericidal, antiseptic and expectorant properties.
Syzygium aromaticum (Clove, Lavanga) is useful in coughs and other respiratory disorders. It improves the breath and is a popular remedy for sore throat, headaches and coryza.
Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Cinnamon, Tvak) is a good anti-infective agent useful in relieving cough due to its soothing action.
Ocimum basilicum (French Basil, Vanatulasi) is useful in various types of coughs, headaches, earaches, nasal catarrh and croup.
Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice, Yashti-madhu) alleviates irritable conditions of the mucous membrane. Strengthens the immune system and provides resistance in recurring infections.
Zingiber officinale (Ginger, Sunthi) is soothing for cough, colds, flu and other respiratory problems.
Piper longum (Long Pepper, Pippali) is used in coughs, coryza, asthma, hoarseness of voice, bronchitis, etc.
Vitis vinifera (Grapes, Draksha) is used as an astringent in throat infections.
Malva sylvestris (Common Mallow, Gul-khair) possesses demulcent, cooling, antiseptic and emollient properties.
Myristica fragrans (Nutmeg, Jatiphalam), the oil extract of which is used as a counterirritant that stimulates blood flow to the area applied.
