Himalaya launches Himplasia for BPH patients

Are you 40 plus years of age and tempted to visit the bathroom frequently? If you are one such person, here is a remedy from Himalaya Herbal Healthcare. Himalaya has launched Himplasia - a clinically proven solution for BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia). BPH is known to affect approximately 25 percent of men of 40 years of age or above and almost one in every three men over 65 years of age..

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday after announcing the launch of Himplasia, Philipe J Haydon, General Manager - Pharma Marketing of Himalaya Herbal Healthcare, said: "The current treatment for BPH has a lot of limitations. A patient not only faces the problem of non-compliance, escalating cost and side effects in a drug therapy but the patient also faces limitations of a surgical procedure which includes hospitalization, blood transfusion, urinary tract infection, urethral stricture and development of urinary incontinence. Himplasia has no side effects and comes at a patient-friendly price".

HimplasiaHaydon said Himplasia has the combination of time-tested herbs like Tribulus terrestris, Caesalpinia bonducella, Areca catechu, Asparagus racemosus and Crataeva nurvala. "Himplasia also improves the peak flow rate and significant reduction in the prostatic weight. All these factors lead to an overall improvement in the individual's quality of life", he said.

Himplasia is available in a strip of 30 tablets priced at Rs.3 per tablet and the recommended dosage is two tablets a day. "It is better to consult the doctor before taking these tablets", he said.

Stating that these tablets are available world-wide on different brand names, he said the company aims to capturers.5-crore of the Rs.65-crore market in the country within three months.
