Himalaya Herbal Healthcare has announced the launch of Himplasia, a new drug for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlargement of prostate). Himplasia addresses both the functions of anti-androgens and alpha blockers without side effects, as per the company. At present, the treatment costs between Rs 9 and Rs 58 per day compared to Himalaya's Rs 3 per tablet per day.
