Himalaya Drug Company, a Bangalore-based herbal healthcare company,
will double its turnover to Rs. 500 crore in the next couple of
years and expand its operations to Egypt. "A high rate of growth
in the ayurvedic growth segment is expected to provide a demand
boost that will propel growth. The international market is also
taking ayurveda in a big way. Lastly, we will introduce a number
of new products that will directly add to our bottom line,"
President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Ravi Prasad
said.
