Himalaya Drug Company today announced launch to two new drugs catering to women's healthcare segment. The company has introduced a drug for management of menopausal symptoms, Menosan and Reosto for combating osteoporsis, a release said here. Priced at Rs.2 per tablet, Menosan has been marketed as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy without associated risks and adverse affects. The herbal formulation benefits management of short-term and long-term symptoms. Reosto eliminates risk of abnormally high calcium and vitamin D levels in blood thereby preventing formation of calcium stones and slow bone loss along with incidence of fractures. The drug has been priced at Rs 1.5 per tablet and is available in dosage packs of 60 tablets.
