The roots of Shatavari or Asparagus racemosus have galactagogue, antispasmodic, appetizer, cooling, tonic and aphrodisiac properties.

Asparagus is an herb that regulates hormonal secretion. Shatavari acts as a galactagogue and is useful in lactation failure - it promotes lactation.

 
Indications
  1. Reduced breast milk secretion in nursing women
  2. Menopausal and post-menopausal symptoms

Dosage*
1 capsule twice a day before meals.
